About ME!

Hello friends and crafters alike, I am Chloe' C. Mimms but my friends call me Mama Glitter or Glitter and I love to knit and crochet.  I grew up in a South side of chicago, I am both a sweet, humble and talented young woman.  Since birth I have tried to busy myself with different activities I could do.  I first tried swimming; then I learned I can't swim until high school. I tried girl scouts which is where I first learned the craft of knitting from a collegiate student.  She taught my troop the basic skills of the craft and for that I thank her.  I soon embarked on a journey to crafters HEAVEN. Throughout that year I tried to finish a scarf I had started when I was taught to knit.  I finally did and when I did I wore that scarf everyday.  I had such pride in my work. 
For seven years I have committed myself to knitting and crocheting at any chance I get.  Of course, I would go about my everyday life but this what you call my down time.  Now that I am more experience, I like to try different patterns and designs to enhance my skill.  As I said before for the first few years I only made scarves, but then I learned to make hats later on.  Then I decided this craft is becoming popular and I ordinary people come up with original and borrowed patterns and "blogging" about them why not do the same.  This idea began the birth of the glitter works project.

This is my blog has become my second baby, next to my panda bear child, Pong- Chan.  I hope you all enjoy my GLitterfied WORKS along with other people's different patterns.
